Personal News:
Well, for me (and probably the majority of you if you're between the ages of 5 and 18), school has started! I find this to be very exciting--school always is, especially with all the stuff you learn and experience from it. Sure, there may be homework and essays and peer pressure and all that other muck... but I personally believe all the benefits outweigh all that. (Analyzing the benefits and costs of things is important in economics--that's one of my classes! I'm in 12th grade now--just about to graduate from high school!) But one big problem out of all this is free time--time to work on other stuff, to play, and to sleep is significantly more scarce than it is in the summer. I'm going to try to work on my website as much as possible with what little free time I have... Maybe I'll do some of it tonight--tonight happens to be a no-homework night. I love those nights, don't you?
Song Section News:
The songs I wrote are on my website too, if you haven't noticed. Included are lyrics, info about the song, and some have a 45-second music clip! Yes, I do write songs, but unfortunately only a few of the songs are currently on the site. I'm currently working on the big new version of the site, so I don't really have time to work on the old one...
Story Notice:
You may have noticed the story "Darkness and Light" on my website. That is a story I put lots of work into, as I have for about five years now. However, don't be fooled--the story that's currently on there needs serious revision. Luckily, I didn't go too far into the story already... But the new version of the story is kind of cloudy now--the story seems to make almost no sense to me now, even though I keep discovering new things. So prepare to bear with me for a long time...
Pokemon News:
I announced earlier that seven new Pokemon were just created. Well, a few days ago, that number has expanded to ten! Just recently, I added three new Pokemon! They are Chirpling, Pudgeon, and Mongrouse--all bird Pokemon of the Normal/Flying or Fighting-type. They're all one evolution line. The strange thing about them is, though, that I came up with their Japanese names before their English names... which is very kawatta because I know very little Japanese... I just base the names on what I do know and the names of other Pokemon. (Kawatta means unusual by the way--that's one of the few words I know...) (If you must know, the new Pokemon's Japanese names are Poppuru, Piipuru, and Puruuda. They sound like they're purring when they talk because of the "puru"...) But aside from the new Pokemon, nothing much as happened in this field.
Neopets News:
I said earlier in my Neopets post that I had earlier abandoned ten of my pets to be left with the twelve I have now. But now, I'm planning to abandon three more... my Kacheek, Bruce, and Gelert will be gone... But the others will hopefully be spared. And not only that, I'm reducing my account number to three rather than six--that many accounts is eay too much to handle. Sumibelle, Satsumamon, and Nirva will be my remaining accounts, and all three will keep their pets. As for the other pets, I'll have to transfer them via the pound... hope nobody picks them up... (If you do, I will haunt you forever in the worst possible way even if it means getting my account frozen, so don't even try.) This should happen with the next few days, so goodbye to the pets I'm abandoning for good, and hope you find a new home! *sniff* At least I only have to abandon three pets rather than ten...
Changing the subject: Recently, I got a quest from the Faerie Queen! How rare and exciting! She wanted a Candychan Plushie, which is rather expensive--about 16,000NP in fact. But luckily, one of my other accounts could afford it, so I got the quest done very quickly. As a prize, my Shoyru gained a level! She's now at level 11!
More news is yet to come.
